Clinical trials generally refers to research oriented study that investigates whether a medical methodology or device is safe for use and effective for humans being. These studies show which medical approach work best for certain diseases or groups of individuals. The data produced from clinical trials helps in health care decision making. A clinical trial will help the physician to find a new drug, strategy, medication or device which in turn help in diagnosis, treatment an prevention of the disease. These studies will help to confirm whether the new therapy or treatment is safe for usage and is it better than already existing treatment options. The possible outcome from clinical trials are Positive trial, Non-inferior trial, Inconclusive trial, Negative trial.
